This is the age-old question that has been troubling women since the days of Adam and Eve. It’s usually phrased this way, because men are almost never uncertain of their wife’s sexual pleasure - they are sure that they are the best she’s ever had, so they don’t even consider the possibility that she isn’t satisfied.

Women, on the other hand, do consider this question, and it’s not because they necessarily feel that they aren’t desirable or skilled enough. It’s really due more to the tendency that men have to be a little (or a lot) obsessed by sex, and a wife will naturally be concerned about keeping the “mule in the stall”.

Probably the most important thing a wife can do to keep her husband happy in bed is to fully enjoy every sexual encounter. This, of course, can be a challenge, especially if the husband is more “frisky” than the wife. This doesn’t have to be a put-on or faked, necessarily. Giving herself completely to the ardors of his passion should be a natural experience anyway.

Yet there will be times when a wife will have to appear to be as excited as he is to make love, even if she’s not exactly in the mood. Queen Elizabeth I was once quoted as saying, “A woman should be a lady in public, and a harlot in the bedroom”, to paraphrase. This is sound advice from a woman who had to keep her husband happy to ensure the survival of her country. A little play-acting is harmless, and can actually be fun if the wife approaches it in the right frame of mind.

Being the instigator of love-making is also a big turn-on for men. Even though they enjoy being the dominant one, there is a definite excitement for a man when his wife surprises him with amorous intentions every now and then. Being creative will also keep his interest. Trying new techniques, reading up on the Kama Sutra, or just dressing up in a provocative manner on a Wednesday night will catch him off-guard, which is the surest way to make him happy in bed.
