How to Show a Man You Love Him
Some men are very affectionate and it is easy for them to believe you when you say those three, all important words: I love you. Other men are not as ready to believe those words. In fact, most men seem to accept actions much easier than they accept words. If your man is one of these, then the best way to tell him that you love him is by showing him. When your man can see through your actions that you love him, it says more to him than simple words, because actions are always from the heart while words can be lies.
In order to show your man that you love him, one thing that is very important is to just get over things. Women have a tendency to remember every tiny little fault a man has and every single small thing he might have said or done that was wrong. Then women often bring that up, sometimes years later. A man doesn’t want to be reminded of his faults; when he’s wrong, let him be wrong sometimes and he’ll learn. Remember that he’s human too and you make mistakes. This goes hand in hand with respecting him. Let him have his own opinions, interests and thoughts about things. Don’t try to make him into what you want him – if you let him bore you to death about his car, he’ll be more than happy to be bored watching the latest chick flick with you. This is because he knows you respect his interests, so he’ll respect yours and love you more.
Another great way to show that you love him is to be affectionate. When you’re out in public take his hand and hold it. He’ll know that you love him and he’ll love the fact that you’re showing everyone around you that he’s yours. Pat his shoulder, hug him, sit by him – small gestures of affection tell a man more about your feelings than trying to explain them to him. When he gets home from work, tell him you love him, give him a hug and kiss and let him know you’re happy he’s there. Fix him his favorite meal occasionally as a surprise – he’ll be extremely touched. Make sure that you listen to him too. When he needs to talk, wants your opinion or is just explaining about the latest sports stats, listen. Don’t just nod your head – give him the same attention you want from him. He’ll know you love him (men know they bore most women to death about cars and sports) when you listen to him and you might find you’re not as bored as you expected! He’ll return the favor and you’ll be sure that he’ll always be by your side.
