How to Tell a Guy You Like Him
Sometimes men are dense when it comes to picking up signals from women. It may take you a little trying to get a man to understand your signals, unless you are blunt. To tell a guy you like him without actually coming out and saying it, here are a few tips on getting the point across.
Dress nice and look your best, and make a point of going directly to see the guy you are interested in. It doesn’t matter if he is at work or school, with friends or alone. The point is for you to make contact with him, and get his full attention. You do not have to dress provocatively, simply accentuate your assets and play down areas you are not happy with. Go directly to the guy you are interested in, and hand him a slip of paper with your name and number on it. If he asks what it is before looking at it, tell him to give you a call later and then walk off without looking back. This is called adding intrigue, and he will be wondering what it is you have to say and will call later.
If you are shy, there are other less direct ways of telling a guy you like him. Write out a short note that tells him you want to talk and put your phone number or email address and tell him to text or write you. Leave this note on his windshield, desk or locker and wait for him to contact you. The note lets him know you are interested, and then leaves it up to him whether or not he wants the contact to go any further. If you don’t hear from him, it is probably best that you try once more just to be certain he gets your note. If you still don’t hear from him after this, he is probably not interested.
If you have no qualms with being direct, walk directly up to the guy and tell him you have plans for the weekend and want him to join you. If he asks what you are doing, ask what he wants to do. This starts a conversation, and you can lead him to go wherever you want. The fact you asked him to come with lets him know you are interested, and that you like him.
