The basics of an initial interest are pretty easy to read, if you know what to look for. And that’s where often times it all starts – with a look.
You know how it is when you see a hot man and take a second glance. Well it’s the same for a man who finds you attractive. He first will find you physically attractive and begin to check you out. If you’re looking for love or have noticed someone you think is attractive pay attention.
Is he looking at you? Use your peripheral vision to see if he is because many times a man is checking you out but not when you know he is. So be a bit of a detective here. Notice what he’s doing when he thinks you’re not looking.
Some men are bold enough to make direct eye contact with you when they think you’re attractive. In this case there’s no guessing involved and you can be pretty sure if he’s looking at you then he’s interested.
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. So much is said with the eyes without a single word being spoken. Use the eyes to ‘read’ what a man is saying to you and about you.
If you keep staring at him and he’s rolling his eyes at you then realize that may mean he’s just not into you.
Another great part of the face to keep your eyes on is the mouth. A simple smile can speak a thousands words if you’re really listening. But you may have to maintain a little eye contact to get that smile. A man can be shy and even afraid to show a woman he’s interested in her. He may not just flash a smile at you in a second.
Make eye contact, maintain it for a bit, and see what happens. Now don’t stare or keep looking at him. Just once or twice and let things develop. If he’s interested in you it will show in his eyes and hopefully the smile he shows.
Remember non-verbal clues are very important to read not only in the first stages of a potential relationship but even in a long lasting one.
